Ovid: Amores III: A Selection: 2, 3, 5, 14

This selection of poems from the third book of Ovid 's Amores is designed to meet the needs of those studying or teaching the verse literature prescription for OCR Latin AS level, 2012-2014. Introductory essays by Jennifer Ingleheart discuss Ovid 's historical and literary context, and offer an overview of the Amores as a whole. In addition, each poem is accompanied by an exploratory essay. The Latin text is supplied, and at the back are extensive language and explanatory notes. All words not included in the GCSE Defined Vocabulary List are glossed.
